Sludge Dewatering Equipment

Sludge dewatering equipment is one of FU CHAN MACHINERY’s core Sludge Treatment Equipment product lines, covering the IDE, VIP/LSC, and ID series. Different models can be selected according to organic sludge, inorganic sludge, and different treatment targets. The IDE series is generally suitable for organic sludge and low- to medium-concentration sludge applications that require continuous automatic operation, with final moisture content suited to general sludge volume reduction needs. The VIP/LSC double belt filter press series is also suitable for organic sludge and larger treatment capacity conditions, and can usually achieve lower final moisture content than the IDE series. The ID filter press series is more suitable for inorganic sludge, chemical sludge, or applications requiring further moisture reduction, and can usually achieve lower final moisture content and better cake dryness. You can explore each model further based on sludge characteristics, treatment capacity, and target moisture content as a reference for Sludge Treatment Equipment selection and system planning.

VIP / LSC Series

Double Belt Filter Press

The VIP & LSC Series double belt filter press is a common type of Belt Filter Press. Designed for continuous dewatering, it combines gravity drainage with progressive pressure dewatering to effectively reduce sludge moisture content and improve overall treatment efficiency.

With its stable structure and continuous operation capability, this belt press for sludge dewatering is suitable for various industrial and wastewater treatment systems, providing reliable dewatering performance while helping reduce downstream sludge disposal costs.

ID Series

Filter Press

The ID Series is a filter press type sludge dewatering machine that uses a pressurized dewatering principle. It is suitable for applications requiring lower sludge moisture content, improved sludge cake dryness, and reduced downstream hauling burden. Compared with general continuous sludge dewatering machines, the ID Series is better suited for treatment conditions that place greater importance on downstream reduction performance and sludge cake solids content.

Depending on sludge characteristics, chemical conditioning, and operating conditions, the sludge moisture content after treatment by the ID Series can generally be reduced to around 75%, making it an important front-end unit for downstream hauling, drying, or reduction planning. Actual dewatering performance should still be evaluated based on sludge properties, equipment configuration, and on-site operating conditions.

For treatment processes that require further moisture reduction, better sludge cake condition, and stronger downstream reduction results, the ID Series can serve as an important application direction when selecting a sludge dewatering machine.

IDE Series

Multi-Disc Screw Press

The IDE Series multi-disc screw press is designed for continuous sludge dewatering with stable performance and low energy consumption. Its fixed and moving ring structure provides a self-cleaning effect, effectively preventing clogging and ensuring reliable operation under varying sludge conditions.

With its compact structure and high level of automation, the IDE Series is suitable for low-concentration sludge treatment in various industrial and municipal wastewater applications, improving sludge reduction efficiency while reducing operating and maintenance requirements.

IDE-S Series

Screw Press

IDE-S is a screw press sludge dewatering machine that applies gravity thickening and screw extrusion dewatering principles. It is suitable for both organic and inorganic sludge treatment. Operating at a low rotational speed for continuous dewatering, it offers low energy consumption, relatively low operating noise, low vibration, and low wash water demand, making it suitable for long-hour stable sludge dewatering applications.
